Yoga Night
A group of lady friends and I make a point to get together one time per month with some sort of activity surrounded around the idea of mind, body, and soul. We have done a variety of different things like go to the wineries, apple orchards, or just hang out at home chatting with friends. This evening was my responsibility to plan and I decided we would go for dinner and a Yoga night. I use to do Yoga more consistently, however like most exercise I have been super slacking lately. So, tonight was lot of fun to hang out with my friends while doing some Yoga. Here are a few shots.

I am BACK!
My apologies for being so horrible about getting anything interesting on my blog. I have been really busy at work, so once I get home:

1. Give hugs and kisses to the family (including 3 very anxious doggies)
2. Change into comfy clothes
3. Eat dinner (I am blessed to have a husband who has planned something for dinner before I get home almost every night)
4. Clean up dinner
5. Catch up on everyone's day
6. Check and respond to e-mails, facebook, etc.
7. Catch up on DVR (I can't stay up past 9 p.m. most nights, so I have to catch up the following day-I am officially OLD)
8. Give hugs and kisses to the family (including 3 very anxious doggies)
9. Prepare clothes and stuff to take to work
10. GO TO BED!!
That is about it and I don't think it would be very exciting to write that on the blog over and over again.
So here is an update:
- Jayme is growing up. She is 9 weeks on Jan. 30th. She understands the command of sit and is a great little puppy. We will be beginning puppy lessons on February 9th. We are all very excited to learn more commands-like STOP peeing in the house!
- Lincoln and Tres are getting used to the new puppy. They only growl when Jayme sits on them. Linc and Tres are just so little, it is not hard to do.
- Brad has been busy getting all our tax information ready. Another blessing in my life is his ability to do the taxes. I would have no idea where to even begin.
- Juan is a 14 year old boy, doesn't that say enough. He lost his second cell phone. The 1st he broke the screen. Insurance allowed us to replace it, however, the replacement is now"missing." Luckily, we kept the broken phone, so he is back to the original phone with the broken screen. It works fine as long as it is being used the way it is intended-for emergencies.
- I presented at a Turn Around Schools conference this past week in San Diego. Go to turnaroundschools.com to check them out. They are a great team of people working with educators to make the difference in children's lives. It was a great opportunity and am so excited to be part of their revolution. Thank you TAS!
So, there is your update. I hope everyone is doing well. Much love!!!
P.S. Here are some updated shots of the puppy.

Beach in January
I try to count my blessings each day. Going to the beach in January is certainly on the top of my list of blessings. Living in California provies us such great weather and opportunities to camp anywhere, anytime. Gottta love it! This weekend we went to Doheney Beach in Dana Point, California. We meet up with some friends from work. We really had a great time sitting on the beach, sharing funny stories, watching/playing football, and eating too much. Here are a few shoots of our weekend.

Poor Kiddo
Yesterday, I am sitting in my office catching up on my desk work when a 1st grader walks in looking like he is sore from a full day of riding a horse. He says in a quiet voice, "Mrs. Devor, I had an accident." Oh, boy! I asked him if he went potty or stinky. He said stinky really bad. The scent began to linger throughout my office. I asked him to go into the restroom next to my office and try to clean it up the best he can while I call his mommy. He goes into the restroom and asks how do I clean it up. I suggested using the toilet paper. I went to call his mom and later he called me into the restroom. The poor kiddo is standing in the restroom with his pants and underwear down at his ankle, poop all over the toilet seat, and toilet paper everywhere. He started to get sad and said he couldn't clean himself. Knowing I couldn't help him, I asked him to pull up his pants and his mommy would be here soon. The smell was overwhelming and I had to do everything possible not to release my lunch. It was the worst smell I have smelt in a very long time. He wasn't able to sit down, so he just stood next to my door until his mom should up. I am still spraying air freshener today! My job is always so interesting! I love it!
